The following is a list of rules and expectations that each mentor is expected to follow. Failure to abide by the rules may result in loss of a Mentor position.

1. Connect Time : Barring unforseen circumstances, Mentors are expected to connect at least 10 hours each week. In the event that a Mentor cannot meet this minimum, they should contact the Mentor Staff Head accordingly.
2. Inappropriote Behavior : Mentors are expected to be examples of good behavior on Ansible. Individuals who fail to do so will be removed. Any Mentor who is punished for rule breakages will be removed, no questions asked.
3. Expectations : Mentors are expected to work closely with launchies. They should introduce them to the game (if possible) or at least greet them with a page. Mentors are responsible for teaching the basics of Rp and checking launchy requirements. Mentors are expected to role-play with and be good examples to the launchies. If an individual is not meeting these basic expectations they will be removed from Mentor Staff.
4. Optional :
   
   1. Mentors are allowed one additional NPC to place into one of the three active launch groups. This NPC will be rotated once every four to five months. If they have additional NPC slots they may continue to play the NPC in an army, but the they must continue to have at least one NPC in launch.
   2. Mentors are allowed to teach Basic RP Classes. These include covering things such as IC/OOC, Twinking, and other introduction topics.

Those interested in applying for Mentor Staff should contact the Mentor Staff Head via page or mail and express their interest. If a position is available, the candidate will be contacted and an evaluation period will be scheduled. The evaluation period is a one week period of time where the candidate will log all RP interactions (minimum of three) and these will be submitted (** unedited) on the Mentor Application. At the end of the evaluation period, the candidate should send the Mentor Staff application form as well as the logs requested to the Mentor Staff Head for consideration.

If a candidate is accepted into the Mentor Staff program, they will begin as a trainee. Trainee-Mentors will be expected to perform the same duties as any normal Mentor, but they will work with other members of the Mentor Staff to double check things. A Trainee-Mentor will be eligible to become a full member of the Mentor Staff after a period of two weeks training, with approval from two current Mentor Staffers as well as the Mentor Staff Head.
